This height calculator is based on regression model that estimates a person's height based on various factors such as age, gender, weight, and parental height. The calculator uses a statistical regression model to predict an individual's height with a certain degree of accuracy based on these variables. US units

As parents, it’s only natural to wonder: How tall will my child be when they grow up? Whether you're just curious or trying to plan ahead, a height calculator is a simple yet helpful tool that can give you a good idea of your child’s future height.
Using basic inputs like your child’s age, current height, weight, and the heights of both parents, the calculator provides an estimated adult height — in both centimeters (cm) and feet/inches, so it works for everyone, no matter where you live.
Our calculator uses two main sets of information:
Child’s age – For example, 10 years old
Child’s gender – Male or Female
Current height – e.g., 151.38 cm
Current weight – e.g., 35 kg
Mother’s height – e.g., 170.00 cm
Father’s height – You’ll enter this based on your information
With these details, the tool gives you two types of estimates: one based on current growth and one based on parental heights (genetic potential).
This method uses your child’s current height and age to project future height, based on standard growth charts and trends. If your child is taller or shorter than average for their age, this method reflects that.
For instance, if your 10-year-old son is already 151.38 cm tall, that’s well above average for his age. The calculator uses that information to predict he may continue on a taller trajectory as he grows.
The second method uses a widely accepted formula that estimates a child's future height based on how tall their parents are. It doesn’t factor in the child’s current height or weight — it’s all about genetics.
Here’s the formula:
For boys:
(Father's height + Mother's height + 13 cm) ÷ 2
For girls:
(Father's height + Mother's height - 13 cm) ÷ 2
For example, if mom is 170 cm and dad is 180 cm, the formula would look like:
(180 + 170 + 13) ÷ 2 = 181.5 cm
That means the parentsPredict estimate suggests your son might grow to be around 181.5 cm tall — assuming average growth.
Each method gives you a different angle:
The current growth estimate reflects how your child is growing right now.
The parental prediction gives a long-term view based on genetics.
Using both together provides a more balanced prediction — giving you a better sense of what to expect as your child gets older.
You’ll see the final result in both centimeters and feet/inches, so you don’t need to convert anything yourself. Whether you’re used to metric or imperial units, you’ll get a clear, understandable answer.
All you need to do is enter a few details about your child and yourself. In just seconds, the calculator will give you an estimate of your child’s adult height.
While no prediction is 100% guaranteed, this tool gives you a realistic range based on well-established formulas and growth data.
Every child grows at their own pace, and genetics is just one part of the story. Nutrition, sleep, exercise, and overall health also play big roles in development. But if you're looking for a fun and informative way to estimate how tall your son might be — this calculator is a great place to start.
